The passenger service charge in Singapore is S$21, this should be incorporated  in the air ticket including tickets issued outside Singapore.If this tax has not been incorporated  you may be required to pay S$21 during check-in.However, some airlines absorb  the service charge.For passengers who are in transit for less than 24 hours may leave the airport without paying the service charge upon departure from Singapore.

How to Shop Tax Free in Singapore

Visitors in Singapore are entitled  to get the full refund of the 7 % goods and services tax that you paid on your goods.There are two service  providers in Singapore processing Goods and Services Tax  refunds.The Global Blue Tax and Premier Tax Free.To avail a Tax refund in shopping shop where you see the signs "Global Blue Tax" or  " Premier Tax Free " and ask the salesperson for a Global Blue Tax refund cheque or a Premier refund Voucher when you make at purchase of S$100 and above.When leaving Singapore simply show your  vouchers or cheques with your purchases,receipts and passport to the Customs officer  at the Refund Inspection Counter.

3.Weather :

4.Cell Phone Usage:
The Singapore international dialing code is +65 however if you have international roaming on your mobile phone there is no need to dial +65 it will automatically connect you to the local numbers  you wish to call.

6.Smoking:
If  you are a smoker,you will have to resist the urge to light up in the air-conditioned areas such as shopping centres,restaurants,entertainment outlets and cinemas.Smoking is also an offense to MRT station,trains,taxis and lifts.A maximum fine of S$1,000 can be imposed on first-time  offenders.
